My Amish neighbors may not agree when it comes to gift giving!   I stopped for eggs and the farmer's wife was cleaning  four chickens.  She was keeping one for herself, preparing two for orders, and giving one to the mailman as a Christmas present.  I asked how she would get the chicken to the mailman and she said "I'll just put it the mailbox....I figured he would get enough cookies!"
