WOODLAND WALK
After weeks of cold temps and quiet solitude the forest was alive with activity and melody. The crow called continuously from on high while an Indian hen gave the warning that a visitor was in the woods. Nuthatches cackled in the distance as chipmunks scolded my presence. Although only 26 degrees, the sun was warm and the air was calm making it a delightful winter walk.
The new green moss gives the promise that spring is on the way!
