               Leaves of three, let it be!                                   Leaves of five, no hives!

It is more difficult to identify when both Poison Ivy and Virginia Creeper are growing side by side.  I always find these vines on fence posts.

I needed this reminder a couple weeks ago! I got into poison ivy at my mom's......It's finally getting better. I hope you are enjoying these beautiful days. We rode by your place Friday evening after shopping at some farms. It sure is beautiful down that way this time of year.

Hi Val,
Ouch! Poison ivy is never pleasant. A friend told me last week that jewelweed is a good remedy to take the itch away and usually grows nearby.
Stop by when you are passing through. Summer is my favorite season with every week bringing more produce and berries. Speaking of berries, the red raspberries will soon be here.
