The Mockingbird is amazing.  Sitting on the highest branch of the tree, he performs a concert imitating every  bird in the area.  As many as 25 different bird calls are given in one long repeating session.  

While the mockingbird is very skilled, he is just a copycat with no original call of his own. Some days his continuous repeating becomes boring to me.  The imitation is never as delightful as the original.  This is not only true of artist and musicians but also with imitation leather, imitation vanilla, and so forth.

I was told that a mockingbird is imitating a phone ringtone and repeating it day and night. Talk about annoying! Thankfully, our mockingbird is just repeating bird calls at this time.
