APRIL SNOW April showers turned to snow yesterday nipping the blossoms and tender young ferns. I wonder if my spinach and peas will survive these brutal conditions...hopefully the cold temperatures will only make them more hardy. Something we say around these parts is "when the going gets tough, the tough get tougher."  April is the cruelest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, |
