Bio
I am Sally J. Yoder, nature artist and gardener. My inspirations and materials are gathered on morning walks along the field lanes and woodlands that surround the Yoder family homestead. When not in the studio creating, I am often writing, speaking, or teaching workshops that inspire others with a love for nature and design.
This journey began in the late eighties when my children were young and I wanted to develop a business from home. I created wreaths for holiday craft fairs that were well received and soon had a clientele for home/corporate decor. Moving to Allensville, Pennsylvania in l997 provided the space for a shop/studio in the summer kitchen of our old farm house. The business expanded to include weddings, events, and workshops. Flowers, herbs, gardens, and nature will always be essential to our lives. Perhaps even more as we return to basics and embrace the simpler things in life.

"Natural Designs Floral Studio, Allensville, has expanded its business to accommodate a growing market during an economic downturn by offering educational classes. When times are difficult, individuals return to the things that nourish their souls. It is the arts that provide that necessity. It has been said that art is not the privilege of a few, but the necessity of all." - Press Release 2009
